Hey all, up for sale is a lightly used complete 7.1 surround sound system, the Onkyo SKS-HT540. This system comes complete with one center, two bookshelf fronts, 2 side surrounds, and 2 back surrounds. Also included is the powered subwoofer, which can be bought separately, as sold through Onkyo, hinting at the confidence they have in the performance of this particular sub. The center channel is included but is not seen in the picture because I had it still hooked up to my system. The center and two fronts have removable faceplates, and in my opinion actually look nicer that way. I have used this system with an Onkyo TX-SR605 for about 2 months, bought it new from j&r for about $250, and could not be happier with its performance. Moving my system to a larger room and having a little extra cash in my pocket because of tax season meant that it was time to upgrade. However, this system is great for small to medium sized rooms, I personally used it in my bedroom and it was more than enough to achieve that sought-after enclosed surround effect.
