Welcome to Central Valley Reptile Rescue. For the last 20 years I have been collecting and caring for several species of reptiles and amphibians. I have decided to put my expertise and lifes passion to work and operate a home based reptile rescue. We are strictly non-profit and accept a very small amount of donations.
Many people purchase a juvenile Burmese python and are shocked 3 years later when the animal is nearly 10 feet long and capable of eating rabbits or chickens. Or the beginner herp. keeper buys an iguana for $13.00 and is overwhelmed when trying to handle a fast and powerful animal. If they are lucky the animal will live and before they know it the cute little baby is almost 5 feet long.
This nightmare scenario is where CVRR comes into play. Armed with the experience and expertise to care for hundreds of different species, we can assure you the proper care will be given to your animal.

non-native species may be subject to quarantine and surrendered to state fish and game. Once again, anonymity is guaranteed. All personal info. is strictly confidential. Our goal is to care for the animal, not inform authorities about illegal animals.
