Today around 3PM, our lost Yorkie was returned to us!! A family had him for a few days and did not have access to a computer or newspaper until today. We received a phone call and shortly met up with them, and we were reunited with our beloved Max!! He is in no harm and they took good care of him for the few days they kept him. We are in the process of getting him micro-chipped right away and we will do anything to make sure this never occurs again!! Thank you to everyone who called and emailed us in support and help, we truly appreciate it and we are more than elated to have our missing piece of our family back home. I can honestly say these were the hardest 3 days of our lives and words cannot explain the relief we are both feeling to know Max is back home safe with us! As a word to everyone who is searching for a loved lost pet, DO NOT GIVE UP!!! We printed, passed out, and posted over 150 flyers, listed posts on craigslist, kijiji, oodle, and modesto super saver 3 times a day, put an ad in the Modesto Bee, and spread the word to people all over in a matter of 3 days!! Hello and thanks for reading. This cat has been trapped in a neigbors tree for at least 4 days. We have called animal control who verified he is there, but can not do anything to help. We called the local newspappers but they did not call back. We do not know what to do, and as you can see, he is approx 50ft in the air. The owner of the house at 2361 Drew Ave, Turlock, CA (right off of Tuolumne, a block down from Geer) has a dog to top it off.

If anyone recognizes it or has any ideas, please contact us. All of us in the neighborhood (aside from the owner of the house where he is stuck) are very concerned and willing to help any way possible. If someone has a way to get up that high I would even pay them.

UPDATE: Thanks for the responses. Fire department says it is not an emergency, animal control said he would come down eventually, and tree service company says if it is not my house, nothing they can do. Maybe if we all went out in front of the place with protest signs? Not sure why Turlock charges property tax, they don't seem to do anything here...

Their parents were ferals that my elderly neighbor fed so to cut down the problem I got the parents fixed and fostered the kittens. they are doing great! They are still a bit shy around new people but they warm up pretty fast when someone shakes the food dish. They follow me around like dogs and as soon as I sit down they jump on me and instantly purr. They do the rough and tumble thing that kittens do and are great around my 2 year old son. They would adapt to any home just fine as long as they are getting attention daily. I want them to go with someone who is serious and responsible and knows that cats live 15-20 years. Its not a weekend thing. Also, I am nursing a respiratory infection ( kitty cold ) and they are on eye ointment and liquid oral antibiotics. If you truely want a kitten ( which why would you, these two are great ) you have 2 options. Wait til they are off the ab's or if you feel that you can administer them, and are sure you wont miss a treatment, then you can go home right away with one. Just email and let me know.

Sam is a one year old male Goldendoodle. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. He turned one on Oct. 15th. He is a very handsome and wonderful dog, he is great with all 3 of my children including my 2 year old. Unfortunately, I have had to move into an apartment due to financial hardship and this has turned into a problem for Sam. The apartment manager has said that Sam is too big to stay here, and Sam is very unhappy because he has very little room to run and play.
Sam is a medium to large sized dog, probably about 50 pounds. He needs to be living in a home again that can provide him with the space and time he is going to require. He also needs to be with someone who is willing to have him groomed once every 6-8 weeks, as poodle mixes will get matted and need special grooming.
There will be a rehoming fee for Sam.

I drive by the corner of whitmore/carpenter rd. at least 2x a day. For the last 7+ days I have been watching two dogs...both large, one german shephard, one golden lab (retriever), both have collars on and appeared to be well taken care of. I stopped by there on tuesday (they stay very close to the corner, in the orchard, but visible always when I stop at the stop sign) and did get close enough to see they had collars on. PLEASE PLEASE if you are missing them or know who is, pick them up before they get hurt, hungry, or taken to the pound. If I can do anything to help, send me a message. I'm worried about taking them to my home as I have currently kept a stray who is a large male boxer, pit kinda dog, and I'm worried they would all fight...so, I'm hoping we, in our little craigs list community can get the word out and take care of these guys SOON! I'm inviting a couple more people to learn a great way to ride horses. I'm only offering western riding lessons but to all ages and all levels of riding. Your more then welcome to ride my horse or bring your own. I can also travel with the simple cost of fuel if in Patterson there is no extra charge. After a few lessons when the rider feels comfortable I can show you how fun and relaxing riding is with a nice little trail ride. I can also help with ground work with you and your horse. Riding is alot of fun and you will also see that when learning it's a great way to get out and enjoy an hour of your day! I also specialize in barrel racing and can teach you a proper and safe way to race. I charge $20 for a basic lesson and $30 for a barrel lesson. Thanks for every body that had great ideas. Well it turns out angel must have been home sick cause last night I fed her bolongni, and gave her gatoraid to drink since she hasn't been drinking much.
