I'm heading out on a road trip from Ca to Ft Benning, Columbus Ga .... end of August ... early Sept. I'm going to be helping out with a new grandchild.

With gas expenses what they are ... looking for items that you'd like to transport along my route. My route and dates are still flexible but planning on leaving around 3rd week in August.

driving a late model air conditioned Mini Van with all the back seats folded down so would have room to transport anything that would fit in the van.

Pets would be considered as I will be bringing along my own ... dedicated dog person that I am. Pets would need to be well-behaved, kenneled, healthy and up to date on vaccinations.
Return trip planned around end of Sept .. early Oct .. can transport either way.

Heading out to Central Connecticut (which is only 2 hours - New York City, 2 hours - Stowe,Vermont, 2 1/2 hours - Boston, MA, 3 hours - Cape Cod, 2 1/2 hours - Kittery / Portland, Maine), in a Honda Oddyssey Mini Van at either the very end of July or very beginning of August. I have a total of 4 already, so I am only looking for 2 others. The total gas price with air conditioning running will run about $150.00 per person. Those who are willing can take a turn at the wheel so that we will be there within 50 hours. We can either stop for food. OR even take along sandwiches to eat on the road.
