I love this ibook. We sure have been through some times, but it’s time to move on to bigger and better things. The best thing about this book is the size. It’s small enough to take anywhere, and it is solid as a rock. Though I’ve never dropped it, it just doesn’t feel flimsy –unlike my Gateway CX210X. Having Microsoft Office on here was a huge plus; especially if just about every paper you ever have to submit online has to be in word format.
If I had to rate this laptop, I would give it an 11.4 on a 10 scale. The cosmetic condition of this particular laptop I would say qualifies it for the “used” condition. There’s absolutely nothing wrong –electronically- with this laptop. The only blemish it has is a somewhat bright spot about the size of an inch which is hardly noticeable and still works perfectly. Just goes to show what happens when you get bored at home and decide to clean the LCD a little not knowing what happens; my bad. Personally, I prefer having a laptop that looks a little used beceause it discourages people from stealing it, not that there is a ton of crime here in Merced but you never know. I paid a little over a $850 for it about a year ago, so I feel a buy it now of $390 is reasonable. Good luck, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me.
