There is absolutely nothing wrong with this feeder, it is BRAND NEW with all of its contents, its box, its manuals, even its warranty card. The RFID Chip Tag is completely unused, as well. I bought this with the intention of using it with my cat who needs prescription food, to keep the other cats from stealing his food even if they chased him away from it, but his microchip is 6 years old and has migrated too far away from his head/neck to be read by the feeder, and he won't tolerate a collar to wear the RFID Chip Tag.
This feeder was filled 1 time with Hills Prescription Diet c/d Multicare cat food, and then emptied. It was paired 1 time with my pet's microchip but its settings have been wiped. Please see the link above and the pictures of the box information for the specs because I can't list it all here.
This costs about $270 after taxes, but I would be willing to take $200. It is literally brand new, I just can't use it for its intended purpose because my cat cannot tolerate a collar, and it won't read his microchip.
It is VERY easy to pair with a microchip, though if your microchip has migrated at all, you may have to rely on the RFID Chip Tag (it fits so easily on a collar!) instead which I hear is also super easy to pair but I never used it so I don't know. This feeder had good reviews on sites about pet feeders. It has a lot of automated settings and lets you even track your pet's feeding habits, set size limits for food it dispenses, and you can even use the app for it to set up feeding schedules so if you have to leave for the weekend, your cat can still get fed without being overfed or under fed! It does have battery backup so if your power goes out for a day or two, it will still function to dispense food it just won't use the chip reader parts I think it said?
Oh, and silly little thing, you can also program your pet's name into the display readout of the machine. Just a small cute thing.
Please see the link for the full specs, and if you have any questions, I can try to do my best to answer them! Thanks for reading!
