Sheldon Chicago Lathe 1940s to 1950s era
•Belt Driven with variable speed gear box.
•110v motor (motor does not go into reverse) rotates counterclockwise as usual.

Everything is there, its been fully restored and gone through everything, all tolerances are acceptable for its age. Some of the teeth on the gears have been brazed back on, works just fine, I've done many light work jobs on it and it holds up fine in the high and low gears. Cross slide has a bit of backlash but thats because it just needs a new brass nut made for it. Has cross slide lock and apron lock. Its well oiled, no rust. Its extremely heavy, so please use caution and bring help to load it. Or if you're by yourself, everything the machine, the table and the gear box could be removed for easy convenience.
