Kelvin, my indoor cat, snuck out the back door and is still missing! Missing since 12/5, from the Beyer High area (Coye Oak Dr.). If someone hasn't already taken him in, I am thinking he is either hanging out with or hiding from the neighborhood cats in the bushes. He is not a fan of other cats and is used to being indoors only, so I suspect he might be hiding. If you see him, he is also slow to warm up to other people, so he may be skittish and only come out when hungry or eating/drinking.
Kelvin is solid black, with a freckle on his left eyeball (facing him, right eyeball; but his left). He is neutered and chipped, with no collar. He is under ten pounds. He has a cute high-pitch squeak for a meow. He eats mostly canned food (but loves kibble as a treat) and would get really excited when I'd talk about "Spot's Stew," so if you happen to see him, see if he responds to the word "stew."
I've included a few pictures of him so you get an idea of what his face looks like. It's sort of a round triangular shape. He has a bit of an overbite, and many of his back and middle teeth are missing due to age (14 years). Lost in the Beyer High area, near the corner of Coye Oak Drive and Bridgewood Way. I suspect he might be in one of the backyards of Coye Oak Dr. or Kona Oak Dr., if he hasn't already yet made his way to a front yard or somebody has taken him in.
If you think you have seen him, please contact me. All I want for Christmas this year is for my Kel to come back home!
