You DO NOT NEED experience with farm equipment. You will be working on just the diesel engine, not the rest of the tractor or harvester or dozer.
The pay is $75 per hour if you have very relevant experience and knowledge.
We will also reimburse you for the money you spend on gas (or diesel) to drive to our farm in Gilroy.
This will be a 1-2 day job but it could turn into a long-term gig if your work is good.
We need a DIESEL mechanic to do the following work on our John Deere engines.
- Perform maintenance including changing air filters, fuel filters, and oil filters on main diesel engines including Cummins.
- Diagnose and repair issues like rough idle, diesel leaks (fuel leaks), and engine oil leaks on auxiliary diesel engines
