Prompt Precision Manufacturing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Deburr Technician to join our manufacturing team in Ceres, CA. This position is responsible for preparing laser-cut and welded components for finishing by removing sharp edges, improving part appearance, and ensuring parts meet our quality standards before powder coating.
Job Responsibilities
• Break out laser-cut components from metal sheets
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from fabricated metal parts
• Perform cosmetic grinding and blending on welded components prior to powder coating
• Use hand tools, grinders, sanders, and other finishing equipment safely and effectively
• Inspect completed work for quality, appearance, and consistency
• Prepare parts for the next stage of production
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
• Work as part of a team to meet production schedules and customer requirements
Qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle metal components
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude
• Previous experience in metal fabrication, deburring, grinding, welding support, or manufacturing is a plus
Schedule & Benefits
• Full-time position
• Tuesday–Friday schedule
• 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4 x 10 shift)
• Occasional overtime available on Mondays
• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
