Vintage Fender Bass Speaker Cabinet - Late 1960s /
Early 1970s - Single Owner
Original vintage Fender speaker cabinet from the late 1960s to early 1970s. This cabinet was owned and used by my grandfather, who was a bass player, and has remained in the family since presumably new. It has been in long-term storage.
Based on its size, construction, and era, this cabinet is consistent with Fender bass cabinets of the period (Bassman-era), possibly a multi-speaker bass configuration. It features classic black tolex, original silver/black grille cloth, correct Fender logo, and the original metal Fender ID/inventory plate.
The cabinet shows honest vintage wear from age and use, including scuffs and aged hardware, but appears structurally solid with no major damage. It has not been opened, tested, or altered, as I wanted to leave it exactly as it was found.
Due to age and originality, the cabinet is being sold untested and as-is. This would be an excellent candidate for a vintage Fender bass rig, restoration, studio or stage use, or for a collector looking for an original Fender cabinet with provenance.
