The stalker is about routines. He/she will follow their target at any cost. They will recruit others to do their stalking when they are away or out of town. Proxies are usually close associates of the stalker. So you might wonder, “why would anyone help a stalker”. First of all, the proxy, may not realize what is going on. The stalker will use their associates. Either by creating a self pity story or some proxies are hard up for funds and will not think twice if they receive something back for their illegal services. And yes, it is illegal to assist a stalker to monitor another person. Plotting to do harm is a serious offense. Especially if the target(s) have proof. It’s not a stretch for a desperate stalker to convince proxies to help in return to receive property, car, money, and other valuables. It says a lot about character in our world today. Just be strong and say no. Do not assist or listen to anyone who wants you to stalk or harm others. And most importantly, report that activity to LE immediately.
