It is brand new never even been driven and the chassis is complete and put together also even in working order so saves you a lot of time doing a lot more work since these originally only came as a kit you had to put together yourself.
It has all the parts to finish it all you need to do is paint the body also put the stickers on and provide your own transmitter and receiver and charger for the battery to have a done and complete car. even comes with all of the original spare pieces and papers from the kit and extra parts that were bought around the same time this car was released in 1987 which makes this 38 years old and was manufactured in Japan.
I put in a brand new Traxxas receiver and had it hooked up to my transmitter a while back cause I bought this second hand so I had to check everything to see if anything was even working. it is still in the the car as well with the crystals if you still want to use the old school style traxxas transmitter. since then actually right before i took photos and listed this up for sale I hooked up my new Futaba transmitter and receiver to make sure everything was still in working order which it was with no issues.
overall everything is in pretty good condition especially for being this old but due to age the lexan body has yellowed a little bit and has a few small scratches just from being moved around in the box. There is reproduction bodys for only $50 if you ultimately want something perfect. It's very rare and hard to come by this model especially with all original Tamiya parts in this good of condition and so complete with all the period correct parts like the electronics that are all still brand new. Like the Trinity speedworks pole position motor and Futaba mc 1128 speed controller and the Futaba FP-S132H high speed servo on the car plus a matching spare and even brand new in box Novak 410 MXc speed controller. also the stock original motor that comes in the kit.
Could be yours for only $400 which I think is pretty good deal if you consider all the electronics is almost worth that alone and for something so cool with all the vintage period correct parts. everything you see in the photos is what you get.
