Northfield Machine 12HD Jointer - $4,200 (Turlock)

This model has the spring joint cam but joints perfectly flat in the normal position. Tables are flat and parallel; my 36-inch straight edge will not allow a .001 feeler gauge underneath on both infeed and outfeed tables. Fence is flat with no issues as well.
4 knife cutterhead. Blades are only a couple years old. I sharpen them in place, and am happy to share my process with any prospective buyer.
I've adapted the dust chute to accept 4" dust connections as shown in the photos.
Additionally, the machine includes a steel mobile base built by the last owner. I've changed the wheels to suit my needs (6" all swivel) but will probably swap to the original casters (4" two fixed, 2 swivel) as they make transport easier and lower the jointer to a more normal height (I'm tall).
I purchased, but have not installed the cut depth gauge from Northfield.
I am the third owner; it was originally used at a Los Angeles area school and was purchased by the previous owner (hobbyist) when woodshop classes were discontinued. That owner restored and repainted the machine. Additionally he turned aluminum grips for the ships wheel. I purchased it in 2023 for use in my home shop. I am selling it because I've upgraded to a Northfield 16HD. The machine is still in my shop and can be powered.
I can help load, but moving this is no simple task as the machine weighs roughly 1,800 lbs. I would also be willing to potentially deliver for a fee depending on your location.
